Baoping LI
Deputy Director of Learning Science Laboratory

Dr. Baoping Li is the Deputy Director of Learning Science Laboratory at AICFE. She received her Ph.D. from Beijing Normal University and was senior visiting scholar at Education University of Hong Kong. Her research interests are learning spaces and learning activities under smart learning environment. She directed three national research projects and has published more than 30 papers in Chinese and English. Dr. Li serves as Executive Committee member in Global Chinese Society of Computers in Education (GCSCE), International Program Committee Co-Chair in Global Chinese Conference on Computer in Education (GCCCE), and reviewer for domestic and foreign peer-reviewed journals.

Yu LU, Chief Data Scientist

Dr. Yu LU received the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS). He is currently working as a chief data scientist at AICFE, where he is leading the learning analytics and educational data mining research. Before joining AICFE, he worked as a research scientist at A*STAR Singapore, as well as the project manager/developer at several industrial companies and research labs in Singapore and Europe. He has gained both industrial and academic experiences in data analytics, mobile computing and computer networks. He serves as a program committee member and reviewer for multiple international conferences and journals. He received the outstanding performance award from A*STAR Singapore and the NGS fellowship from NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering.

Yue YIN, Research Scientist

Dr. Yue YIN is a Research Scientist at AICFE. She graduated from the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and received her Ph.D. in Psychology. Her research focused on psychology personal inventory, which evaluate human behavior by different assessments. She is interested in the potential factors of student learning and understanding and developing themselves through psychology research. As a new member of AICFE, her currently work is using big data analysis as an approach to explore the adolescent study ability and mental development.

Pei ZHAO, Digital Learning Researcher

Dr. Pei ZHAO graduated from the Department of Teacher Education, University of Helsinki and received her Ph.D. degree in Education Science in 2017. Her research interests are Educational Informatics, Digital Literacy, Media Literacy, Educational Equity in Digital Era, Teacher Professional Development, Digital Heritage and Digital Culture. She has published six academic papers (one SSCI and one CI), two conference papers. Currently, her research works focus on educational equity and students¡¯ learning results and teachers¡¯ professional development in Internet plus era.

Penghe CHEN

Dr. Chen Penghe received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore. He is currently working as a big data researcher at AICFE, taking charge of the educational knowledge graph project. Before joining AICFE, he was in the data mining team of Advanced Digital Sciences Center (Illinois at Singapore), working on big data system and text/graph mining. His research interests include machine learning, probabilistic graphical models, natural language processing, data mining and big data system.

Wei CUI, Junior Researcher

Dr. Wei CUI graduated from the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and received Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology. Now, she is working in AICFE as a junior researcher. She is interested in human thinking and reasoning. She hopes to help people to understand themselves and others deeply through psychology research. Nowadays, with the development of the Internet and data analysis technologies, people can access information more conveniently, and find unique rules. But there is still a long way to go to understand the human mind. In AICFE, we use internet technology and big data analysis methods to explore the law of adolescent mental development, and provide advice for young people's personal development and life planning.
